Johnny had a lot of Lamb in his latest ad

Innovative director Johnny Han has epitomised the miserable and exhausting experience of the airport we all feel by using sheep.

Han’s latest ad for flight app, Jetsmarter, titled “Sheeple Hero,” took the brand’s initiative to “#FlyHumanely” quite literally. Han uses the metaphor of “herding sheep” in a unique spot-on manner, as he compares all the waits and lines at the airport to feel like a sheep in a herd

The hilarious and original spot showcases just a few of Han’s many skills. Mixed with stunning fast cuts of both the scenery and close-ups, smooth editing, and a knack for a clear and concise narrative, Han nails the line between eccentric and relatable.

Interestingly enough, despite being critically acclaimed and praised for his VFX skills, Han chose to forgo VFX and used real sheep in the ad! Han got a surprisingly focused and in-line performance out of those sheep – quite the feat for any director.

With Jetsmarter, Han continues to push the boundaries, showing the public all the skills and talents that he holds – we can’t wait to see what other tricks (and animals) Han has up his sleeve.

Johnny Han Directs New Spot For World Remit

Johnny Han has directed a new spot for the online money transfer service World Remit. The spot shows a wonderfully diverse group of people coming together and building drones and Chinese lanterns before releasing them into the night sky. 

Known more for his VFX heavy work, the video shows a different side to Johnny's directing skills, highlighting a talent for interaction. The ad caps off a great end to the year for Johnny, who since joining The Visionaries in August of this year, has worked with brands such as NFL, Phillips/Star Wars and now World Remit. Johnny Han Directs Slick NFL Spot

Johnny Han has directed a new spot for NFL Game Pass. The new ad shows off the amazing plays that the NFL has to offer in a variety of different scenarios. You can watch the NFL anywhere thanks to Game Pass and Johnny has really emphasised this in his new spot.

Johnny brings the excitement of the game into the forefront of the ad by imposing the game on the environment around the people watching it. Demarco Murray scores a touchdown on a train, Randall Cobb catches a ball on a building and Dak Prescott gets a touchdown in the trees. You'll know what I mean when you see the ad. Johnny really demonstrates his capability of directing with VFX and it certainly makes for an interesting spot!

Johnny Han Joins The Visionaries

The Visionaries are delighted to announce that Johnny Han is joining for representation. Johnny has been working in the industry for over fifteen years. He has been involved in VFX on major blockbusters and TV shows including Pacific Rim and Heroes, where he won an Emmy. More recently, he has ventured into commercial directing, applying his VFX experience for a unique approach. He has created spots for such companies as Peroni, McDonald's and Land Rover.

Johnny Han is an Emmy award winning creative artist whose career contributions have spanned across major feature films, iconic tv series, and tv advertising.

Currently he is focussed on film and commercial directing where he applies 15 years of industry experience in on-set live action filmmaking, visual effects, and computer animation.

Although born and raised in NYC, Johnny has made a global presence having lived and worked in Sydney, Singapore, and now Los Angeles and London, spending his time between the two.
