Hopping the Pond: Annika Cassidy Bridges the Gap for the Ryder Cup

For her latest project, Visionaries-repped Annika Cassidy represents her Irish roots and puts County Limerick back on the map.

A gaggle of over-eager Americans ambush their Irish cousins in the hope of getting a front-row seat for the highly anticipated Ryder Cup.

In today’s culture of division, it’s nice to be reminded of what we have in common - shared passions, fierce loyalty - even if we’re rooting for different teams, we’re all watching the same game (or round of golf).

Annika’s deft directorial style and reassuringly comedic tone not only provides a good chuckle, but tells a story about distant family finding a reason to come together. It’s as funny as it is heart-warming.

On the collaborative atmosphere of the shoot, Annika said: “It was such a pleasure to shoot for two days across County Limerick with talented local crew. We even had the great pleasure of working with renowned comedic Irish actor Norma Sheahan, and also comedians Meg Reilly and Séamus Lehane.”

So all wayward cousins welcome - whatever flag you’re waving (within reason) - let’s watch some golf!
