Mateo Willis Brings Us Omnivore, Now Streaming On Apple TV+

Visionaries Director Mateo Willis brings us something very special this month — Omnivore, a new series on Apple TV.

Narrated by renowned chef René Redzepi, the series explores how food shapes and connects the world. From salt flats in Peru to coffee forests in Rwanda, to wild tuna off the coast of Spain, each episode of ‘Omnivore’ celebrates the way we grow, transform and consume the world’s best resources — the ones we eat.

To tell these stories, Omnivore crisscrossed the globe, bringing you to the places the ingredients originate from and showcasing each destination’s natural beauty.

Mateo, who worked as Exec Producer on the show & directed the 2nd episode (‘Tuna’), had this to say about working on the project : “The scale of Omnivore gave me, as an EP and Director, real scope to peak into some of the most fascinating corners of humanity - from salt workers in Peru to the most exclusive sushi restaurants in Japan. To do each story justice meant finding the right narratives tools, and then pushing them to their limits. Food is never just food”
