Jessie Ayles tells the story of inspiring female golf star Lizette Salas for LPGA

The latest work from Jessie Ayles tells the inspiring and intimate story of the female Latin American golf star, Lizette Salas. The film dives into Lizette’s childhood, and how her parents moving to America from Mexico sparked her incredible journey. What began as a father and daughter day at the golf course would transform into a life-long passion that would transform Lizette’s life forever.

Jessie crafts her trademark human storytelling into every frame, capturing the spirit and personality of Lizette and the world of female golf. The film perfectly blends images of Lizette’s childhood with the present creating a sense of nostalgia and a passage of time which has led her to where she is now.

Despite being historically underrepresented, young Latin participation is rapidly growing in the world of golf. Through support of initiatives like LPGA* USGA Girls Golf, reaching nearly 100,000 girls across 500+ communities, Lizette is leading the charge.
