Nicolò Quartarulli is an Italian director and creative hybrid working at the intersection of sport, fashion and animation. Raised in a natural landscape of mountains and sea, he grew up with the freedom to wander, let his mind drift and inhabit impossible, imaginary worlds.

With a background as an Art Director at LEGO, he brings a multidisciplinary eye and sharp, cinematic precision to every frame. His films move fluidly between live action, VFX & CGI, traditional 2D and animation, always anchored in strong aesthetics and playful, character-led storytelling.

At the core of his vision lies a simple pursuit: to create impossible worlds that feel real. The kind of places you can only access by closing your eyes: colourful, absurd and dreamlike. Through his direction, these inner landscapes are brought vividly to life on screen, inviting audiences into his intricate and surprising way of seeing the world.
