Matt Timmiss is an independent director with experience across social first commercials, music videos and documentary.
Starting out in pop culture Matt brings a joyous excitement and fun to his films, his aesthetic style is vibrant and pop-y, drawing from his experience (and love) of the queer scene.
He has directed commercial campaigns for Meta working in VR and integrating AR, created Tesco’s most successful Tik Tok campaign ever, brought S Club and Waitrose together for a sensationally nostalgic social first branded MV as well as viral choreographed MVs for Ava Max and Charli XCX. His feature doc City of Queens has had global release with Netflix, Paramount, NBC and Sky.
His commercial expertise is in social first campaigns (lots of deliverables a special skill!), documentary, choreographed dance pieces and queer film.
