With nearly a decade of experience in the freelance sector, Dean has established himself as a highly motivated, collaborative, and versatile creative professional. He has directed campaigns for renowned brands including Adidas, BBC, BMW, Budweiser, Channel 4, Formula 1, the International Olympic Committee, LEGO, NBA, Miller, Timberland, Virgin, WWF, and Xbox.
In 2024, his charity film A Brief History in Five Parts for Synergy Theatre Company won the GOLD Judges' Award for Best Film at the Smiley Charity Film Awards and received three awards at the Creative Circle Awards. That same year, his film Designed by Deadpool won the Grand Award and a Gold at the Clio Entertainment Awards and a Gold at the Epica Awards.
Other awards and accolades include a Drum Award, Shorty Awards, an AICP Nomination, two Clios, two Cannes Lions, and a film co-directed by Dean was part of a campaign that won two D&AD Pencils at The D&AD Awards
