An award-winning film director and photographer, James Morgan’s work spans a decade, and over fifty countries. 

His instantly recognisable visual style explores our shifting relationship with the natural world and spans journalism, fine art, commercials and fiction. He has worked all over the world telling stories with everyone from Indonesian sea nomads through to Bolivian female wrestlers. 

In 2017, James launched Fable Films as a vehicle through which to direct commercials and develop feature films.

He recently made Becoming You, a six part series for Apple TV, narrated by Olivia Colman, and Sea Dragon, a period heist film about the discovery of the first Ichthyosaur.
